(John 16:12-15)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"Holy<\/a>Jesus said to his disciples: “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. “All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.<\/strong> (NKJV<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n

Jesus shares with His disciples the third one of the Trinity – the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 He knows that His disciples; like us; are not yet capable of fully understanding the mystery of the Holy Trinity.\u00a0 He knows that it will be the Holy Spirit that will deliver the truth and provide clarity in their understanding so that they may go and evangelize and become apostles.\u00a0 Here again, we see Jesus discussing His Father in Heaven and that everything that is the Fathers is His and that through the Spirit, He is giving all that is His to us.<\/p>\n

The chapters 12-15 in this\u00a0Gospel of John taken alone\u00a0are difficult to put into perspective.\u00a0 Like the disciples, we are told to wait before going out to preach.\u00a0 We too, need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to help us find the strength and clarity to bring the Word to the people in a way that others can understand.<\/p>\n

We are asked to be Servant Leaders in the way that Jesus was.\u00a0 Just as Jesus, the Rabbi, washed the feet of his disciples we are guided to be humble and lead others with a servant heart.\u00a0 We are encouraged today, to live the Gospel daily in everything we do.\u00a0 We are encouraged to make Stewardship a way of life and to commit to being dedicated to personal development to become the best version of ourselves and bring the Gospel to others in our actions, words and deeds.\u00a0 We are able to facilitate this if we remember something simple… “What would Jesus do?”.\u00a0 Have you followed God’s commandments?\u00a0 Have you followed the teachings of the Holy Spirit’s Corporal and Spiritual works of mercy?\u00a0 We are offered opportunities every day to live a holy life.\u00a0 Taking the time to pray and capture a moment with Jesus at the center of your thoughts can lead to the road of faithful conversion of even those already calling themselves Christian.<\/p>\n

Walk with the Risen Lord as His Disciples on the Road to Emmaus.\u00a0 Recognize Him and Glorify Him through your words, deeds and actions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
